Overview

Ashley Olson, an associate in Stoel Rives’ Energy Group, focuses on renewable energy project development and transactions, including representing project developers in M&A transactions and negotiating and preparing offtake and subscription management agreements for wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects. Ashley also has experience preparing utility-scale and behind-the-meter power purchase agreements.

Ashley has been involved in the acquisition and sale of early-stage development and operating renewable energy projects across the country. She also has experience in financing projects after they have been acquired through tax equity funding and debt financing facilities.

Early in her career, Ashley advised and represented business owners in a wide range of industries on the formation and structuring of corporate entities, capital raises, corporate governance matters, and mergers and acquisitions. Ashley also represented public companies in a variety of equity and debt securities transactions, including IPOs and private placements. Immediately after completing law school, Ashley served as a law clerk to the Honorable Patrick Robben of the Fourth Judicial District.
