Andrea S. Jacuk

Andrea Jacuk is a land manager in Stoel Rives’ Environment, Land Use & Natural Resources group, where she assists the firm’s Anchorage attorneys with due diligence reports concerning mineral transactions, mining permits, title reports, and other land records research. Andrea is an Alaska Native (Dena’ina Athabaskan/Alutiiq), enrolled in a federally recognized tribe, who brings a variety of knowledge and skills in land management, title review, and conservation to the performance of her duties.

Before joining Stoel Rives, Andrea held a series of positions of increasing responsibility with Cook Inlet Region, Inc., Energy, Land and Natural Resources department, for a span of seven years, culminating with land manager.

• Managed all matters on 650,000+ acres of ANCSA land in Alaska, including leases, easements and permitting, ANCSA entitlement, natural resource development, community involvement and planning, contaminated sites, and mitigation efforts related to trespass, invasive species, and wildland fires.
• Reviewed and managed compliance of all National Historic Preservation Act Section 106 consultations, coordinated with villages, Tribes, and other state and federal partners on relevant matters, including multi-agency programmatic agreements.
• Researched, monitored, and directed mitigation efforts of impacts to culturally and historically significant sites.
