Melissa Jones Featured in ‘Freeman Means Business’ Podcast on How to Support Women in Business

Freeman and Jones discussed how Jones and her family are faring during the pandemic, what are Jones’s proudest professional achievement and the most fun part of her job, and if she had mentors and sponsors while she was in the early stages of her legal career.

When asked for suggestions for ways law firms or other businesses can support women, Jones noted that Stoel Rives and her prior law firm offer the flexibility for women who have had children to scale back their workload. Jones also said that she had formed an “informal support group” with a network of women attorneys that meets semiregularly to trade advice and encouragement.
