Labor & Employment Seattle Breakfast Briefing

Speaking Engagement

Please join Stoel Rives Labor & Employment Group for the November 12 Seattle Breakfast Briefing Seminar on landmark changes in labor relations law. We're pleased to announce that Adam Belzberg has joined Stoel's Labor & Employment Group in Seattle and will join Tim O'Connell to provide an update on labor relations law and changes intended to clear the way for unions to organize.

This fall, it is highly likely the National Labor Relations Board will issue rules allowing for “quickie” or expedited elections -- this change will make it much more difficult for employers to win secret ballot elections. Mr. O’Connell’s presentation will cover steps employers can take now to prepare for the expedited election process. Also on the agenda, Mr. O’Connell will discuss micro units, which allow labor unions to organize smaller groups of employees, and new persuader rules, which require government reporting that could help unions to better organize.

Whether your workforce is unionized or not (and you’d like to stay that way), you will want to attend this important seminar.

Registration is NOW OPEN for our November 12 program!
